🔑 API Key Configuration

This server requires API keys to function:

Firecrawl API key (required) - Get from firecrawl.dev
Exa API key (optional) - Get from exa.ai - needed for find_paper_pdf tool

`mandumah_search`

Search the Mandumah database with various filters

Returns search results with a searchUrl for direct browser access.

`mandumah_get_record`

Get detailed metadata for a specific record

Supports record IDs or full URLs. Returns comprehensive metadata including authors, abstract, subjects, and similar items.

`mandumah_get_citation`

Get formatted citations (APA/MLA) for a record

Supports "apa", "mla", or "all" styles. Accepts record IDs or full URLs.

List all available filter options

Search for freely available PDFs on open-access repositories

Searches ASJP, SHAMAA, Al Manhal, ResearchGate, Academia.edu, and Google Scholar. Requires Exa API key.

📋 Output Formats

All tools support three output formats via the response_format parameter:

markdown - Formatted with headers, tables, bold text (default)
json - Structured data for programmatic use
text - Plain text without any formatting
